The Malla collection is a handwoven series of carpets, designed by Mohaded Studio and brought to life by El Espartano's sustainable design laboratory. The collection features a simple geometric grid of squares, rectangles, or triangles that creates a dynamic 3D optical effect by shifting and transforming the intersections of its lines.

This spontaneous distortion, combined with varying colors, textures, fiber heights, and finishing techniques through hand-tufting, produces a sense of depth in each carpet. These graphic movements evoke natural phenomena such as crystallization, fissures, wave patterns, and constellations, imbuing each piece with a distinct, contemporary personality.
