Vases

Made by Cristián Mohaded & Santiago Lena (Puerto Madryn, Chubut, Argentina).

A series of unique vases that combine two very different and contrasting materials and processes, each serving a specific role. The bone-colored ceramic is the body that "breaks" and the laminated elements of alpaca metal serve as links between the parts. Each of these pieces is unique in its process; the ceramic is "broken" before firing and then reconstructed from these assembled elements, which are handmade by a craftsperson in the city of Córdoba, Argentina.
